Firstly, you should check the specifications of the door:
·        The door thickness: Each type of lock requires its own door thickness. The thickness that is suitable to install door knob is 30-45mm.
·        Measure backset: The backset is the distance from the center of the cylinder to the edge of the door. The backset of the door knob is 60mm.
Then follows these steps:
·        Step 1: Mark the hole position according to the instructions and bore the lockset holes
·        Step 2: Separate the interior knob part and rose
·        Step 3: Install latch, lock body and exterior knob
·        Step 4: Mount the interior knob and rose, faceplate
