THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF GLASS SLIDING ROLLER

• Spare part manufacturing: The clamp and the body of the glass sliding roller are made of SUS304 stainless steel while the wheel is made of ABS plastic. SUS304 stainless steel coil is discharged first and moved to CNC laser cutting machine in the next step to obtain the desired blank shape. Then, the detailed trim, including straight shearing, circle shearing in horizontally and vertically positioned is happening by using high speed precision machine. Blanking and nibbling are the final step to trim the part to final size. About the wheel, ABS Thermoforming involves heating sheets of plastic until it’s malleable, then fitting it over a custom-designed tool, drawing it tightly against the mold to get the accurate shape.
• Surface treatment: The surface finish is an important specification for stainless steel products to optimum corrosion resistant condition. As steel is worked through the various steps, it often accumulates scale on the surface. Descaling is worked to remove this scale by using either acid baths (common pickling solution is 10 to 15 percent nitric acid plus 1 to 3 percent hydrofluoric acid). For grinding or polishing, grinding wheels or abrasive belts are normally used. Electroplating (by chrome or nickel) is performed to finish the mental surface.
• Quality inspection: Various process parameters throughout the manufacturing process are monitored and controlled for dimensions, tolerance, surface finish… ensuring the final product meets quality standards, certain specifications of the door.
• Assembling: The assembly process is conducted semi-automatically and divides the assembly positions into dozens of stations. In addition, workers will manually check the form and function at every assembly station on the automatic conveyor, to limit product errors. 
• Packaging: Finally, the quality products are packaged and ready for shipment.
